It was formerly known as Shanghai Southeast Medical College but with course of time not only its name changed but also it expanded to a great extent both in the area as well as faculties.

LOCATION & WEATHER

The city observes a continuously changing climate. It has summer and winters with an average temperature of about 17-20 degree centigrade.

It witnesses Monsoon as well, which makes it a perfect place to live in. Although, students from all the Asian countries are used to such climate and weather on an average, so they can survive well.

Highest Summer Temperature is 32°C in the month of July and Lowest Winter Temperature is around -1°C in the month of January.

MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION IN ANHUI MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

Although, the University is located in China but still the major medium of instruction in the English Language. All the office work is done in English Language only.

ELIGIBILITY

Students must have more than 60% marks in 12th standard.
The student must have NEET qualification with above 55% in PCB in 10+2, otherwise, he\she won’t be eligible to apply for it.
In the case of Humanities and other subjects like Law, Engineering, etc, there are various entrance tests conducted online, and qualifying them is the only way to help get enrolled.
The age of a student or applicant must be more than 17 years and less than 25 years.
A student must have chemistry, physics, and Biology as the main subject in 12th standard.

DEGREE

It is one of the best universities of China wherein the faculty specializes in teaching Bachelors or MBBS which is tenured as in the other countries alongside the internship towards the ending years, etc.

For the students who apply for MD, the university could be the best place because it teaches the very basics of research in the field which makes the degree valuable.

The duration of the MBBS course at Anhui Medical University is 6 years, out of which 1 year is an internship.
